Bangkok. The Panoramic View

This swivel webcam is located on the high tower of The Peninsula Bangkok Hotel and captures an unforgettable bird’s-eye view over the beautiful city of Bangkok.

Somehow, these modern skyscrapers manage to live in harmony side by side with a hundred of Buddhist temples, spread around the entire city. This is a typical thing about Asia — present, past and future co-exist in the mind of local people like one.

The most famous of these temples are Wat Pho (also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), Wat Suthat, Wat Saket and Wat Arun.

Bangkok stands on the Chao Phraya River. The river runs through the entire city, from its north part to south, and has a significant public traffic load. This lively and picturesque waterway is full of water trams and boats hurrying back and forth from their stations. A nice way to avoid traditional traffic jams, isn’t it?
