Vancouver. View of English Bay from West Vancouver

The part of Vancouver in which this camera is installed was formed at the beginning of the last century, after the separation of the District of North Vancouver. West Vancouver is home to about 40 thousand people, there is an important transport hub, or rather, the ferry terminal, which connects Vancouver Island to the mainland of British Columbia.

In this part of the city, any industry is prohibited at the legislative level, that’s why there are so many parks and recreational areas (the most famous park is Cypress Provincial Park). There are several golf courses in West Vancouver, basketball and tennis courts, a swimming pool, an ice rink, skateboard parks and other sporting facilities are enjoyed by all the residents of Vancouver.

The district is considered one of the most expensive in the country, the average cost of property is about 2 million Canadian dollars, and 95% of houses in West Vancouver cost more than 1 million dollars.
