Snow-covered slopes of a ski resort and the sea coast is an unusual combination. You can find it in the Croatian sports center of Platak. Unfortunately, you can’t combine swimming and skiing because in the winter the sea is cold, and in the summer the trails are covered with thick grass.
The camera is installed on the top station of the chairlift. In addition to the chairlift, the resort also has several cable cars, which serve 8 trails, including the training one. Local residents buy a ticket for the whole season. It’s only 160 euros per year. A day ski pass is 10 times cheaper.
We can see only a small part of the Platak resort. The total length of the ski slopes is more than 2,000 meters, and a separate three kilometer track is available for cross-country skiers.
In addition to the ski slopes that you see on the screen, lovers of outdoor activities can visit the sports center in the town of Delnice, which is part of the Platak resort and is located 30 kilometers east of Platak.
