The camera in the resort area of Santa Maria al Bagno, in the Italian town of Nardo, is directed toward the beach. In the foreground, we can see the promenade Via Emanuele Filiberto, stretching from the beach, Santa Caterina.
The entire coastal area in Nardo is built up with hotels and restaurants for tourists. Santa Maria al Bagno is not an exception. Just behind the beach, you can see the signs of restaurants Art Nouveau, La Pergola and Piccadilly Srl bar.
On the site of the modern area, which we can see on the screen, settlements existed even in Roman times, but they were looted and completely destroyed in the Middle Ages. Modern Nardo is a town built practically at the end of the nineteenth century.
